The Anardana Legacy
Founded in 2019, Anardana began with a simple vision: To reimagine traditional Indian cuisine for the modern palate while honoring culinary heritage. Our name, meaning "pomegranate seeds" in Hindi, symbolizes the essence of our philosophy—each seed unique, yet part of a greater whole.
What started as a single outlet in the heart of Delhi has rapidly blossomed into a family of 11 distinctive restaurants across India. Each location tells its own story, reflecting the local culture while maintaining the core values that define Anardana.
Our chefs, trained in both traditional and contemporary techniques, source the finest ingredients to create dishes that honor their heritage while surprising and delighting contemporary diners. From street food reimagined to royal Mughlai feasts, every menu item is a celebration of India's rich culinary diversity.

Anardana was born from a simple idea: to bring back the joy of Indian comfort food—but with a twist that speaks to today's India. I've always believed that food is more than just what's on the plate—it's about emotions, memories, and shared experiences. With Anardana, we wanted to take those beloved flavors we all grew up with and reimagine them in a way that feels fresh, playful, and relevant.
As the Founder of Innov8 Coworking (YCombinator '16) and Founder & Trustee of Plaksha University, I bring a passion for innovation and excellence to everything we do. Recognized as Fortune 40 Under 40 and India Today Next 100 Leaders, I serve on the Central Advisory Board of MIT Sloan Centre for Development & Entrepreneurship and as Board Member of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (Govt. of Delhi).
What started as a single outlet with big dreams has now grown into a vibrant community that keeps surprising and inspiring us every day.
